How to get here
We are only 250 yards away from the highway with bus connections to the north and south of Belize.
Free parking places available.
We can help to rent a car or call a cap.
Shuttle from and to the Airstrip of Punta Gorda or the water taxi to Guatemala/Honduras are available.
By car from the north (Belize City, Belmopan, Hopkins or Placencia, etc.):
After Big Falls you reach the junction called “Dump”. This is the point were the gas station is located to the right.
There is the first Sun Creek Lodge sign and you turn to the left. From here it is 2 mls after you see another sign on the right side. Turn left and after some yards you choose the first possible street (there is a sign on the right side but it is a little bit hidden) to the left. After some yards you reach the Lodge.
By car from the south (for example Punta Gorda Town):
After Mile 12 – San Marco Village – you will see a sign „Sun Creek Lodge“ turn to the right.
After some yards you choose the first possible street (there is a sign on the right side but it is a little bit hidden) to the left. After some yards you reach the Lodge.
By bus:
The cheapest way to travel in Belize. It doesn’t matter from wich direction you are coming, tell the conductor to stop at Sun Creek Lodge / San Marcos Village junction. After only 5 -10 min ( ca. 400m or 250 yards). You will reach the Lodge. Follow the signs.
By plane:
We offer a reasonable pick up service for our guests from the airstrip in Punta Gorda. Alternatively you could take a taxi or the bus.
By boat from Guatemala:
You can either take a taxi or the bus from Punta Gorda or you might choose our pick up service.
